Our botanical garden has over 200 years of history. On an area of around 2.8 hectares (greenhouse area: 1500m²), around 7500 plant species can be explored.

Open daily from Monday to Sunday. Also on weekends & public holidays!

A huge vegetable and ornamental plant market for a whole weekend!
Orchids & carnivores, perennial rarities & bonsais, cacti & palms - ornamental plants take center stage in the Botanical Garden!
On the campus meadow at Universitätsplatz 2, the suppliers of useful plants set the tone: Young vegetable plants, organic seeds, herb rarities and even more edibles are available here!
The program is rounded off with selected arts and crafts and gardening utensils.
