The workshop “Reconnecting with Nature” led by artist Ronald Netto invites participants to explore the interconnectedness of humanity and the environment through art, using fractals, patterns, and monochromatic techniques to deepen self-expression, emotional connection, and personal growth. Through ethical discussions, collaborative mural-making, and hands-on work with natural materials (linseed oil, clay, plant coal, pigments), attendees will translate textures, forms, and light–dark transitions into cohesive, nature-inspired artworks. In the evening the participants are invited to exhibit their creations alongside paintings by Ronald Netto.
The workshop is designed for early career scientists and PhD students working topics related to climate change.
